For those of you who may not know who I am allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lizzy, you know, the girl snapping all these pictures! 


 I'm a Des Moines, IA native (go hawks) but I did a little small-town stint for 5 years. Then, after a few more years back in the city, my husband and I decided to trade it all in and move back to small town life in central Illinois. City and country life have given me a unique perspective, and I'm always finding new things to be inspired by. From the peaceful and quiet a gravel road brings to the bustling energy of a downtown skyscraper, I love them all! 


I was talking to one of my closest childhood friends the other day and she commented “Well Lizzy this has ALWAYS been you!” and I thought ‘she’s totally right!!’. A lot of my childhood was spent taking photos with friends and going back and editing them. I got my first camera which was a polaroid back 15+ years ago, and I've loved it ever since! 


Fast forward from my teenage polaroid era, in 2021 I became a mom. As many moms do, I wanted so badly to be able to document every second of my kids life's (because it goes so fast am I right?!). One kid turned into two, and somewhere along the line I became a stay at home mom to two young kids. Wanting to document my kids translated to getting my current camera for Mothers day. Since then I've been working with couples, families, and kids capturing what all of them have in common; the LOVE they have for each other! 


OK we get it, you love taking pictures but why make it a business? Why now? 


Well guys as cliche as it sounds, the whole “Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” rings true to me. I’m totally obsessed with the awesome relationships I build with clients. From the big stuff to the little moments, it's all so special. I find it incredibly fulfilling to capture these moments and know that they'll be a source of happiness and nostalgia for you in the years to come.
